We’re stuck in the middle.
With a foot on each side;
We can’t solve the riddle,
For the truth loves to hide.
To commit to one way,
Is too big a gamble;
While emotions will sway,
Our thoughts are a scramble.
Once across the fine line,
We can’t ever go back;
Keep an eye on the signs,
And prepare for the flack.
We can lose what was gained,
While attempting to fly,
Or can try to sustain,
Always wondering why.
It’s a catch twenty-two;
A rock or a hard place.
So we ask what to do,
With the choice that we face.
Life’s crossroads will beckon,
Always forcing a choice;
When time comes to reckon –
Will the truth find its voice?

Verse Of The Week:
This is what the LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. – Jeremiah 6:16
