Fellow Residents of Cyberspace,

I’m back!

I know I expressed plans to resume blogging after my month-long European journey, but as some of you may have noticed, I extended my absence from technology for the past few months.

Now, to account for my hiatus: Change is in the air. As the autumn season rapidly approaches, telltale signs abound. For us South Floridians, these indicators of Fall take the form of plastic Halloween decor at Wally World and Pumpkin Spice Lattes at Starbucks (oh, so good!) as opposed to cozy sweaters and fiery displays of crisp, crunchy leaves. But the sentiment is tantamount – The seasons they are a-changin’.

Distance fosters perspective. My little excursion offered just that. It may not have been everything I was expecting, but it proved to be just what I needed. Big changes are on the horizon for my little family that much is certain. What form they shall take and to what end, has yet to be determined. We are trusting ourselves to God, fully confident that He will not lead us astray.

With countless questions and uncertainties and much to do, time continues to slip through my fingers. For simplicity and sanity’s sake, I will be altering the format of my blog. Beginning next week, my primary focus will be on my poems. I will no longer be including an introductory letter, however I will continue to share a poem and a verse weekly.

Many thanks for all your support over the past year. I appreciate your prayers and kind words more than you’ll ever know.

May You Live Each Moment As If It’s Your Last,

Mandy

Weekly Reflections:

True Love’s Kiss

In waking near the man I love,

I see hope in form of doves.

My better half,

The missing piece.

He makes me laugh,

He brought be peace.

To him alone I gave the key.

I opened up, allowed to see.

My secret thoughts,

My deepest fears.

The war I fought,

The painful tears.

To him alone I gave my solid trust.

A kiss that’s true, not selfish lust.

Verse Of The Week:

And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a
multitude of sins. – 1 Peter 4:8
